Calling GT papers for research workshop

The Grounded Theory and Migration Research workshop (in the Turkish Migration Conference 2014,  30 May - 1 June 2014, Regent's College London) is convened by Professor Dilek Cindoglu of Mardin Artuklu University, Turkey. They are calling papers for this workshop. 

This workshop aims offer methodological tools, case studies and the introduction of qualitative data analysis programs for the participants to get hands-on experience on grounded theory in migration research.

Free methodological seminar

Visual Analysis using Qualitative Software is an introductory methodological seminar designed to help participants plan for the analysis of visual data - still images and video recordings. It's funded by the National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) and discusses theoretical and methodological contexts for the analysis of visual data – e.g. Activity Theory, Grounded Theory and Qualitative Content Analysis – as well as illustrating and critiquing software tools – including ATLAS.ti, NVivo, Transana and Media Players such as Windows Media Player, Quick Time Player, imovie.
