Free methodological seminar

Visual Analysis using Qualitative Software is an introductory methodological seminar designed to help participants plan for the analysis of visual data - still images and video recordings. It's funded by the National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) and discusses theoretical and methodological contexts for the analysis of visual data – e.g. Activity Theory, Grounded Theory and Qualitative Content Analysis – as well as illustrating and critiquing software tools – including ATLAS.ti, NVivo, Transana and Media Players such as Windows Media Player, Quick Time Player, imovie.
